INSIDE OUR CLASSROOMS 🐯 Our high school ATLAS classes have been discussing "thankfulness" this month and were challenged to perform a thankful act. Mrs. Jennifer Gunter's group picked up trash Thursday around campus for their thankful act.
INSIDE THE CLASSROOM: Mrs. Amanda Kincaid's fourth graders completed a reading project this week. They selected a book, wrote a review and then made a pumpkin of one of the characters.

The Houston Cross Country Team doubled its haul Tuesday at Ava with first-place trophies 🏆 🏆 for both the high school boys and girls. Way to go teams!
Our Middle School P.E. received four pickleball paddles this week through a grant from Selkirk Sport - We are Pickleball. The grant is designed to help grow the sport in our community. Pickleball is a booming sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. It is played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net. It is played with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes in doubles or singles competition.

While our students enjoy a day off, our staff is busy connecting and collaborating with strategies and goals to grow and improve. Pictured is our Professional Development Committee who met our staff this morning with doughnuts to kick off the day.

We had a blast with the more than 140 girls who joined us for the Little Tiger Cheer Camp 📣 🏈 We learned cheers, played games and performed at halftime of the high school football game.
