Each ball included 12 sides that provide an author bio, book summary, artwork, and other information the students learned throughout the unit. #TheBestWillBe

Miah Bressie (center) was the winner of the Washington, D.C., trip this summer. Lilly Scheliga (left) and Addison Cook (right) were awarded a free trip to Jefferson City this summer.

Our College Award Letters Workshop is for you! Join Ms. Tara Volk, high school counselor, and Mr. Jeff McNiell, college and career advisor, as they discuss different formats of letters used by colleges as well as basic terms you need to know.
Participants are encouraged to bring their award letters on April 3. We'll help you make sense of them and offer guidance as you narrow down your path.

Another tournament, another title for HHS Scholar Bowl π―π HHS completed an undefeated day by downing Springfield Kickapoo 475-295 to win the 7th Annual Spring Scholar Bowl Invitational on campus. Individually, Andy Durham finished second and Ben Cook was seventh.
The HHS B Team went 5-2 to finish as runners-up in the Standard Division. Lilly Scheliga was fourth overall and Allie Benoist finished seventh.

As part of National Disability Awareness Month, the Exceptional Child Education Cooperative is hosting an open house next Friday. According to Director Jennifer Johnson, there will be free hearing screenings, speech and developmental screenings for ages 2-5 as well as a take home activity for any young ones that come in that day.

Parents/Guardians of 8th graders are invited to drop by between 5 and 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, to discuss any questions you or your student may have about high school. Topics could include scheduling, classes, programs, college dual credit classes offered here, and how high school credits work.
The meeting will be held in Mrs. Mandy Adey's middle school classroom. Joining her to provide information will be Ms. Tara Volk, high school counselor, and Mr. Brett Rawlings, middle school counselor. Hope to see you there!
