For the second straight year, the patrol is leading the instructional sessions during our middle school PE and health classes. At the end of the week, students who pass the test can pay a small fee and receive their official Boating Safety Education Card. The annual Hoop Queen coronation 👑 is 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, prior to the boys' basketball home game. Saturday night is the Hoop Queen Dance 🕺💃 from 6-9 p.m. inside the Chamber Building at the Fairgrounds. Dress is school appropriate but there will be a prize for the best dressed male and female. 📣 Introducing a new member to our team, Alycia Sykes. She was recently hired as a paraprofessional in the district by the board of education. 🟥 YEARS IN EDUCATION: First. 🟥 ABOUT MRS. SYKES: "I spend most of my time at my kids' practices and games. If we have any free time, we enjoy going to the river or exploring. The kids love when we go to rocky falls, Elephant Rock or Branson. We spend a lot of time with friends and family, cooking, watching movies or at the river.
