As the Houston R-1 School District moves through the process of gathering information about a 4-day school week, survey responses were requested and gathered from our community, staff and students.
Houston Schools thanks everyone who shared their thoughts. We received 943 surveys with information related not only to the 4-day week, but also a preferred possible day off and potential hurdles related to childcare, transportation, student learning, length of school day and more.
