Once again the Houston MS/ HS Art show was a success with artwork from 7th – 12th grade students on display in the HS Art room March 31. Over 250 people took the opportunity to view the exhibit. Many ribbons were awarded to students with outstanding artwork this year.
Middle School students that earned ribbons: Jaida Lassiter, Kadence Tallman, Vicky Tucker, Shelby Ozier, Emily Scott, Anna Haley, Abbie Hatton, Taylor Arbogast, Leila Shelhammer, Hannah Sawyer and Linda Neal.
Art I students that earned ribbons: Logan Michael, Rheanna Martin, Skyler Kreitler, Thomas Sawyer, Karson Miller, Emily Roberts, Josh Stell, Logan Michael, Braedin Groff, Logan Fulbright, Aaron Neal , Leif Swingle and Winter Hardwick.
Art II students that earned ribbons: Cassie Evenson, Jordan Benson, Chloe Hunninghake, Shaniah Pillips, Shelby Cremer, and Madison Lawson.
Portfolio students that earned ribbons: Destiny Pounds, Azurede Hayes, Mikayla Bathon, Vanessa Flores, Elizabeth Scott, Sam Mings and Kyelor Curtis.
Azurede Hayes Earned Best in Show for her charcoal drawing and Student Choice Award for her chalk pastel drawing of “Elvis”.
